Tibshelf Infant & Nursery School hosted their annual Whole School Sports Activity Day in conjunction with our Inspiring Champions project.. Last year the event won two sports awards for this inspirational and inclusive sports day where all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 take part in 7 sporting activities across the day. Over the past four years they have developed this inclusive sports day so that at least five of the seven activities are led by Paralympian/GB athletes and this year our very own Katie Toft was able share her inspirational story to all the children and staff. She also conducted a cycling class where all the kids were able to ride bikes under Katie’s watchful eye, providing sound advice and tips for everyone present.
A special thanks to Zoe Andrews at Tibshelf Infant and Nursery School for hosting a memorable event. It was a wonderful day and we have no doubt that the kids would have left the day feeling motivated and inspired to be a champion.
